So you buy the lens like that? Or pay $$$ to get it "painted" ??? Seems weird.... the white lenses are actually painted and not just "mixed-in colored plastic?"

nah, its painted 50mm 1.4. white normal lens isnt very convincing since the reason some tele lenses are white is to prevent them from heating when used in high temperatures to prevent af issues caused by expansion of metal in high temperatures

I thought the white was to reflect heat to reduce expansion in the Fluorite elements?

I still think it's a painted 50 1.8 mki
