Why would you need plugins if you're taking good photos?

If you want to do weird shit, learn CAD. If you want weird lighting, get a flash and some gel filters. etc.

Just FYI, all pros I know use Topaz http://www.topazlabs.com/vivacity/

Which is overused and therefore cheesy now. Still looks awesokme.

Looks pretty shit to be honest. Plasticine faces are not a cool effect :\

I've seen some plasticine-like editing on B+w or heavy, pseudo-victorian make-up that looks cool.

Personally, I always thought the appeal of B&W, specially with portraits was the texture it could convey. Getting rid of that texture would kill the photo, imo, though I guess I'd need to see a good example to judge properly.

Black and white printing is pretty simple, never tried colour. Developing film is a pain in the arse though, just because you have to do it completely blind.

I'm in search of nice plugins to edit my Photographies with Photoshop CS4.
Like noise reductions, color tones, or other kind of nice effects.
Important, they should be for MAC.

Shoot in RAW if your camera can do that.
