It seems to be just like Sigma DP1 & 2. Personally I don't find a camera with large sensor with a fixed non-interchangeable lens not very useless.

Um.. What?

The GF1 and and the oli doesn't look as good tho :P

You can get leather skins for Olympus ePens and make them look almost like those old rangefinders :D

@bialator
Have you decided on what you want to get? :p
I don't know if I have suggested this before but there are some ppl who
use either Panasonic GF1 and Olympus ePen cameras with those compact rangefinder lenses like
Voigländer Nokton 50mm f1.1 and many others.
http://www.cameraquest.com/adpmicro43.htm

I think the only downside is the small sensors of those 4/3rd cameras.

No, I have not decided.

Atm I am a bit more fun of the Nikon, but still too expensive.

If only sony was better at higher ISO... A900 is another good option. And 24 f2 and 85 1.4 from Zeiss (ZA) seems to be gorgeous. Plus you get in body stabilizer.

Edit: I want to go vs a bigger sensor, not a smaller!

Which Nikon?
Well it really depends on what you shoot I guess. If you shoot mostly in broad daylight or studio maybe the Sony A900 would be great for you.

What's wrong with Olympus Pen? :p
If you find them gay take look at Sony NEX.
Those things are really ugly

hmm does anyone know how good those "sauerkraut" cameras are compared to the Japanese ones?
I'd like to see a comparison between Leica M9 and Canon 1Dsmk3 and 5Dmk2 and Nikon D3X :D

D700 mate, the only ff I can afford from Nikon.

If you add stabilizer to a PEN, are you obtaining a PENIS? Maybe that is why he hates them so much :P

LMFAO!!
You guys just made my day rofl!
Never thought about adding IS to a PEN though but it sure sounds gay :D

Ah! D700 is great. You will love it's AF when shooting moving objects.
But I think it's 12mpixel sensor is not enough. Why not EOS 5D mk2?
It's almost the same price.

Well, resolution is not everything. Nikon has better performance with high ISO (important to me) and better AF, this is good too so considering all.

lol, nah i was kidding around. but i do find them a strange idea, i feel an slr has far more practical use for budget, in the sense that you get more for your money. Also the fact that the non existent range of second hand and older lens' for PEN's makes them atm uninvestable! maybe in the future!

and i would go a900 over a d700, and buy some old minolta glass (good quality like the 50mm F1.4 carl zeiss, and the 85mm minolta)

or if u have money some sexy new zeiss glass like the 28-70

Well, high ISO is important to me as I hate flash light so that is the only concerning I have vs A900.

I do not know in other countries, but here, Sony and Minolta used lenses are not that easy to find.

Anyway the things I would love on Sony are 24 F2 or 35 1.4 and 135 1.8. U get all of them stabilized as well...
