I do weddings / events, but considering I'm a student and my expenses are extremely low, everything I make is to buy me toys.

But honestly.. i would keep the 70-200/2.8 MkII over a 135L any day of the week.
The 70-200 is just as sharp yet you gain flexibility and IS. One stop of light lost is only downside (and weight too maybe).
I'm going to be doing some interesting video with the5d Mark II's and I'll be buying a 7D (doing both photo and video at the same time - imagine) - that's the only reason I want a better selection of primes. I still firmly believe zooms > primes in weddings - I'd hate losing the perfect moment for a picture while trying to foot zoom.
