IMO, #8 is the best one. Love the mood presented in the picture, interesting subject (cool looking tree).

I used to use mpix for prints if i'm not printing them myself, they haven't let me down as of yet. ;)

It's a contest organized every year with a different theme each year, by a city not too far from where I live.
Unlike most city photo contest, it is not limited to the population, but as long as the pictures are taken in or near that city...
You can look for more details if you google ' mont st-hilaire centre de la montagne'
But I doubt you'll drive all this way to take pictures :p
It is the first time I enter.... and I want to win so much the 500 $ !!!

I went in a photo store and asked them about 8x12 prints and they were 13$ ..... each :RUN:
I'm going back to Costco today then, less than 2$ each...

Oh and that tree is even more interesting looking now
It's in the horse paddock, just by the little river, and the horses ate it all except for the top leaves

Ok as much as I like #5, I just realized it's maybe not a wild flower, I took this picture in my own garden......
And # 10 will the the most photographed flower by everyone, so is it really good enough to submit?

I just discovered this one off my older files:

Great shots Marie
You have improved a lot since you got a DSLR and it also shows that
one doesn't need very expensive lenses to get amazing pictures :)

Ohh, okay, well that's pretty cool! So it brings it down to people that actually live in the area where the photos have to be taken. That's pretty cool, you have a good chance I think!

That's quite the price jump from 2 dollars to 13! But I bet you're getting a much higher quality photo that way. You should try one and see!

Thanks!!
The first prize is 500 $, so it's not worth investing over 150$ in prints...
I had them done at Costco and the lady who was attending was better than the one the other day...
For 1.99 a print it was well worth it!!!
Now cross your fingers!!!
