Wow! I have heard they are very superstitious over there but I didn't know they are THAT superstitious. Well I think you should consider yourself lucky that
they didn't chase after you with machetes lol. In case you don't know you should also be very careful when taking pictures of muslims in some of the African
countries because some of the more extreme ones wouldn't take kindly to people taking photos or video filming them.
Well, they often save their soul if you give them money lol.
They start saying "no" and they continue asking money
But of course they are poor and it is reasonable considering our lucky position in this world.
Anyway if you can go there and see it yourself, great place, gentle people, super food!
