Some people in China still are somewhat afraid of spreading viruses or simply the dust in the air, so I saw quite a few people who wore things like these on the street like this businessman. A woman next to me in the airplane also wore one during the flight :S

lol It really depends on what kind of genes you have some Asians are very easy to guess their true age while others like me are extremely hard

I believe they haven't forgot about this SARS thing a few years ago and some of they wear masks when they are out on the streets because of the polluted air.

Well there are a few japanese cartoons that I like but only because they are extensively "westernized" and dubbed like Appleseed and Ghost in the shell
and games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill.
