I already have 2 5d IIs. I'd like to be able to provide an ok camera to a trusted second shooter (since I very often shoot 2 MK II's wearing a prime or a 24-70 and the other a 70-200). I have this prodigious intern that I'd like to unleash :D

How about when I travel to the States I come and second shoot with you? :)

I'd welcome you with open arms. Talent in my city is limited to a french guy, a couple of girly girls, and old people. I've either interned or currently interning with them. We'd learn alot from each other :D

5d vs 7d...(my recommendation)

5d is better for pictures.
7d is better for video.

I have a 7d myself (videographer in Nashville, TN) and the APS-C (did i get that right?) is not that bad with a nice Canon L series lens ;-)

I shoot a lot of concert shoots, so it would be nice to have the better low light capabilities of the 5d. But, I bought a sweet ass 1.4 Minolta 50mm prime lens and an adapter from apx studios so i'm golden. I highly recommend it. The whole purchase was $100
