Somehow I saw that duck photo and knew it was yours eek. To be completely honest I really liked your shot. It's very simple and just wow... I'm very very impressed! =)

Well, all the winners looked like they already had a really nice camera and wouldn't need a new one, and it also looked like a photoshop contest, and not a photo contest....
We put so much into our work, knowing we will most probably not win, but if only we were given that chance......

<3, i know how that is.. but most haven't been heavily photoshopped on my walk except for a select few.. they're just not what i would call a winning photo though.

Oh well.. theres always next year

actually I think the winning photo actually is the best one between those........ maybe not the most appealing one, but the best.

to me 99% of the others look like snapshots. the winning one of the beans is the only one that seems like it´s photographer knew what he was doing. good composition, nice use of the given light..... and he seems to have picked the right settings to get the right mood.

if it appeals to the people in general, that´s a whole different story.
