I like the contrast and the fact everything is clear. :)

I assume you will all find this one pretty boring :P But I still want to know what you think otherwise.

Hmm.. I think it would have been nicer had you used a telephoto lens so that the sun would look better. The colors aren't really exciting either.

5/10

Portrait taken with the new 50mm 1.8/f.

I don't have a photo to upload yet but I think this one would've been better had you not cut off her face....

I don't like the portrait, I'm not really an expert at them but I feel that this one doesn't create any emotion at all. It shows too little of her to want to see more, and the light is a bit too dark imo.

two photos to rate, because one was missed.

verdena, i really like the concept but the photo would have been 10x better if the tops of those buildings were actually pretty. it's not really doing much for me. 6/10

hest, i like the framing, the colors, and the line from the airplane, i think you did a very nice job. 8/10

I think the composition and everything is fine, but the post editing totally blows. makes it monotone and boring. also your model might want to work on her posing skills :) ( I assume she isnt a pro so that doesnt count )

She is not a pro, you are right! Thank you thought :) I actually like the post editing, but ofc everyone will always have their own opinion. To me, the post editing is what brought it from monotone and boring into something else much better! What sort of editing would you suggest for the photo?

also, 9/10. the photo is fantastic! i love all the detail and color on the dragonfly. only thing i am not fond of, and it is a personal preference, is imo there is too much green!
