I focus manually . I like it better that way

btw why should I change the metering with exposure compensation? What I'm asking is how will changing the metering affect the exposure?

I'm assuming the bells don't look that bright/ white in real life. They're a darker tone?

By metering off the bell with spot or partial setting with -2/3EV will make the bell darker.

ok I thought the bottom left was just a little distracting but here's another shot of the bells

I'm not sure if I should crop out the bottom because of that stem....

Either clone it out or crop it. Pic doesn't appeal to me. Lines are clashing everywhere.

To be honest, i feel like a dick doing this. >_>

I personally love the chaos :) seriously don't feel bad I need any criticism I can get harsh or no and you're the only person aside from onepage that has posted useful things that help me. I mean I don't know about you but I see improvement already

Photographically speaking. Lines usually* serves one purpose and that's to guide the viewer's eyes to the main subject. It's not set in stone and you can break the rule ofc. The lines in your photo are taking my eyes everywhere and distracting me from the main subject.

Alrighty! ;) I have made it my mission to take a picture you'll have either very little negative comments about or none at all (not that criticism is bad ofc)
