The clouds are not gonna stay in the same formation for over 60 images.
It's a thing called wind, they move, the clouds would be blurry...
It wasn't 60 images on
one straight shot. There was hardly a gust of wind.
As I said earlier;
( 5 ) ( 5 ) ( 5 ) ( 5 ) ----- > background/sky
( 5 ) ( 5 ) ( 5 ) ( 5 ) ----- > mid ground/background
( 5 ) ( 5 ) ( 5 ) ( 5 ) ----- > foreground/mid ground
This is
roughly what it looked like, give or take a couple for each shot (I actually ended up with 55ish if memory serves me correct, some parts of the image don't need a massive stop range)
Would you like me to resize and post all the small jpegs?

How many different exposures did you take? I usually do three for HDR landscapes. -2ev,0,+2ev. and use AEB mode.
I try to shoot at least 5 per shot, usually in 1 stop increments when there is a range where I know my camera can handle it in one exposure. I have found this way to hold the most detail in the shadows and highlights in a normal shot.
For more contrasted images it can be -5 to +5 in one stop increments. I've found it gives a smoother gradient when blending.
I shoot all my stuff manually. I set my focal point, turn off AF on the lens, shoot my midtone range first (make sure the histogram is right) then manually bracket shutter speed.
I really hate that over processed HDR look. Every hdr I've shot doesn't even look like hdr, I do it for the stop range and the detail.
