Glad it didn't go to your houses though, whew! These are still cool the ones you captured, though ! It reminds me of the times I didn't go to capture the fire's here in the city I lived in. One in particular: On new years day, a few years back, there was a fire in one of the popular buildings in the downtown area here. The water from all the firetrucks made an amazing effect on everything around it... it froze to everything it landed on and when I saw the pictures everyone else had taken, I drooled! It was so amazing but unfortunate at the same time.

But im happy this time my first reflex was indeed to grab for the camera to have a few taken at least.

WOW that sounds really great indeed, the effect must have looked amazing!!!

Wow, I guess you are lucky just having your home left after that ^^
Oh, that second picture, it looks like a painting if you look at
the trees! It's an awesome photo imo!

The fire here was quite amazing... looking at all the photos people took, it was like ... "daaamnn! I missed out!"

Yes we were so relieved nothing "worse" happened to us and the house in the end!

Thanks a lot for the feedback, i found this one really cool also.
With the smoke and the sun the light was looking really amazing!!!

There could have been so much more possible if i have had the skill and time for it

Wow i finally had the time to take a look at them and wow!!!
They look really amazing, its such a great effect with the ice and all.

I can imagine you wanted to take pictures of that.
The house and the truck look so cool!!!

Wish we had such winters here, but its not cold enough any more.
But at least, we can enjoy the spring time to inspire us with some strong and vivid colors!
