Man, everythings so hard about the Camera's, If I had a choice and money, I would just buy the T1i.

ANYWAYS!

If someone with exact same skills and same exact performance lens, which camera would bring out the BETTER quality picture? Even if its not noticeable?

Both cameras will put out a quality image. No argument there. YOU need to decide which one feels better in your hands, and which one has a more friendly user interface. It all comes down to what YOU want. Everybody else's opinion becomes irrelevant. You've had this topic now three times and eventually everyone says the same thing. Its what YOU want. Neither camera is better than the other.

Didn't you say that your uncle or something shoots with a Nikon? Or was that someone else's bullshit topic about Nikon vs Canon? If that was you that said that, get a nikon. Why? Simple, you can borrow lenses. Anyone in this forum would agree with that. But I honestly don't remember if it was you that said that.

The best thing about Nikon is that you have such a higher lens compatibly.

what do you mean by this? nikon makes(or made) more lenses or that you can mount more other lenses with adapter on nikon than canon?

BUT you can throw on ANY old nikon mount lens and shoot manually.

you can put those old manual focus nikon lenses to canon cameras with adapter and they work on canon just like on nikon d40

best buy for cheap dslr atm is used canon 40d.

what comes to live view, i think its really usefull when shooting on tripod or when you do macro and want to check out the exact dept of field.

D40 is comparable to the Xs/1000D, not the XSi/450D
XSi is one step higher than the D40, and is actually the comparison to the D60.

Xsi > D40 as specs are better in the XSi, it being the newer, and 1 step higher entry level model.

Nikon most entry level DSLR: D40
Canon most entry level DSLR: 1000D/Xs

Nikon 2nd step entry level DSLR: D60 (Or D50x if you can find one)
Canon 2nd step entry level DSLR: 450D/Xsi

I would rate the D40 somewhat similar to a Xti and the D3000 against the XS. :[

Nikons most entry level is the D3000. Yes the D40 is older, but the D3000 can't match the D40 in performance.
