You lucky son of a ...
I've never had the chance to shoot large format film, only 35mm and medium format. Definitely looks like a beautiful piece of kit.

I bet 4x5 sheets of Velvia cost a fair bit, course, you don't shoot a few hundred at a time so that helps. But you've still got processing costs to consider.

Only member from f64 I can think of is Edward Weston, the tones he got in his black and white photographs were amazing.

I don't know much about the large format cameras, but the one I saw seemed to be in good condition. The bellows looked nice, there were 2 different backs for it, dunno what they were. I think there was a 150mm lens too. Now I'm really wanted to get back there and check it out again.

that camera looks pretty damn fine, but you can get large format cameras really cheap nowadays, iv seen meny sold under 100€, but they werent nearly as nice as that one. you should shoot bw with that beast instead of color

Sold for less than 100 euro? :O

What kind of 4x5 were they? Compact or on rails? I prefer railed although the compact is much easier to lug around :)

I'm going to grab some Ilford FP4 and some Velvia or Provia transparency.

Might go all "Ansel Adams" with that Ilford. Now where did I put my zone notes....

My boss has a Blad sitting in his camera bag, collecting dust. I should pinch that too? ;)

Around 80-90 bucks for 10 sheets of Velvia then add another 10-15 per sheet for processing. Pushing and Pulling costs extra per stop. You'd thinking pulling developing time would cost less but it doesn't haha

nice camera man i miss shooting with the 4x5 in the studio. just wondering where ur buying ur film at though, cause when i was shooting (4 years ago) i was getting it MUCH cheaper. (like 1.50 a sheet for fujichrome 100, and a dollar a sheet for b&w negative film)
