It's a type of thick fabric that you can get photos printed on. People also paint on canvas, it's more idea for larger sizes because it's durable and some other reasons.

I don't have a printer, if I want prints I go to a store...
Can you bring a canvas and ask them to print it on it?

Check out Shutterfly, just look it up on Google. The prices aren't too bad.

I just went to my local camera store here and you can get prints there. I believe there are some online places as well that could do it for you but I am not too familiar with them. I did mine via website, and it gave me the option to either have it shipped to my place or for me to pick it up. I'm not sure if where you live has a Wells Camera & Sound near you, maybe possibly you could get it mailed!

And then I clicked on "digital prints online" - you have to make an account there and then you can upload your photo, and print!
