Maybe he wonders which one you would pick? I did my poll just to see what others thought. The photo that has the most votes is not even the one I'm going to print.

Why not ask your friend then? He/she could have a COMPLETE different taste than majority of this forum.

Yeah I agree.
But like, Most of us are all males in this forum, and there are 2 females.
Now, just as an example, (Not saying this is the case) But a male might have a complete different taste in a shot than a female might.
So if us majority being male all agree on one photo, and he's giving it to a female who isn't diggin it too much, I think it wouldn't have served its purpose.

I'm just sayin, not that it wont work.
I've sold a lot to people.
One client wanted a shot, but she didn't tell me what, she wanted a surprise.
I talked to her boyfriend who told me she really liked Zebras. I printed a 20x30" print of a Zebra in Luster and she absolutely loved it, and paid $170 for it!!!

Now, I feel if I had given her some downtown cityscape, she might not have liked it as much.

I just think asking a random control of people who have no affiliation with the person it's being given to would be helpful, as we have no idea what the client likes.
Just my opinion.

If it was being gifted to me, I would love to see #8 printed, framed etc. because of the beautiful colors and contrast between the silhouette trees and dramatic sky!
