Oh lord not you too -.-
I know it's useless to try to convince you otherwise because it seems those huge corporations, record companies and Hollywood have convinced almost everyone in the US that downloading software, music and movies is just like robbery and stealing while large part of the rest of the world think otherwise and please tell me why you think downloading software is the same as robbing a bank? Oh and you have to know that most if not all of those who have downloaded Photoshop would never ever even consider to buy a legal copy because of the extremely high price it's Adobe for being so greedy. This so called illegal downloading only made it available to everyone. It's just like as if someone managed to mass copy a Canon eos 5D mk2 and giving it away to everyone lol

Don't be an idiot. Using the software is a choice, not a necessity, if you don't want to buy a legal license, use GIMP, or some other open source software.

Downloading software is pretty much robbery though.

if you wouldnt buy it enyways since it costs so much and your not actually taking it away from someone, its not a robbery.

But then you have no right to be using the software. The fact that you go to the effort of downloading it means it has some value to you, and as such has monetary value for the company.

its not away from enyone if i download music or programs i woulnt buy enyway. How much i need the program or what it matters to me is irrelevant. No one loses enything if i download stuff, so its not stealing, its copying.

why? it's already available to you so why not downloading it? Millions of people do it out there and just because it seems immoral doesn't mean it is. As far as I see it this illegal downloading is not hurting anyone. All those moviestars, rockstars and software companies are still making tons of money. You don't see Bill Gates or Britney Spears all of the sudden going bankrupt because little ten year old Jimmy is downloading stuff from the internet. and please enlighten me on the similarity between downloading something that already exists on the internet for everyone and going into a bank with a gun or whatever and take money by force...

Theft is theft, doesn't matter how much you want to think it isn't. If you don't like the album, don't download it. It's that simple.

So I take it that you're unaware of small indie record labels closing because of piracy? Or video games companies stopping the production of pc games because of software piracy? Oh, sure, the massive companies might not be hurt that much, but the small companies are, it's pure ignorance to think otherwise.
The similarities between the two are taking something that is not lawfully yours.

It might be coinsidered theft by law, but its not away from enyone, so its not a wrong thing to do. If i had that money to spend on photoshop, i would buy it instead of downloading.

uh you do know that most people would buy software and movies if they think it's good enough and worth it.
I for one buy movies and cds IF I really like them. As for computer games I don't think it's much of an issue here as you have to buy a legal copy to play online... just look at D2 I am sure some people here have probably bought 5 copies or more xD

right on. at 1000 bucks a copy it's definitely not worth buying for most people unless you are rich, spoiled or some kind of professional
