And I should be at work :D.

People post here like they are serious, let them! But you don't have to.

I am serious about my future, about photography, art.
Posting here seems counter productive, you post time into your posts, but receive nothing in return to help you.
Instead you receive others posting stuff, that do the exact same thing, and also get nothing in return.

It seems everything is obsolete, and pointless, a waste of time.

Then put your time into a post and a forum that actually appreciates it. I know if I want some real replies from the time and effort I put into my work, I don't post that here, I post elsewhere.

You very rarely comment on anyone elses posts, yet you expect everyone to comment on yours? How does that work?

It's not as if your topics getting lots of views but few replies is just something that's isolated to your threads, it happens to every single one posted here, so there's no point getting uppity about it. I often check your stuff on Flickr, the only stuff I've seen with comments is the lagoon one you posted, and most of those were just "award" posts from various award groups, and we all know how useful those things are, so again, it's not as if it's something that's even isolated to this forum.

Anyway, leave if you like, I'm not really seeing what the big issue here is, it's not as if TPF is really any better.

Awe don't leave Spence. You're one of the few people I "look up to" in this forum.

yeah I gotta agree with you here. A lot of those so called pro photographers there are just a bunch of self centered chauvinist pigs who think they are better than everyone else. Now I only post there to make fun of them :D

I think the problem on TPF is that there are very few actual professional photographers, most people there are just amateurs.

What is this, "palace of love"?.... I must go there !!!

Edit: Some time later at another web site devoted to the critiquing of photos.

"You know there's just something wrong with the angle of that car shot..."
