To be honest, I'm happy just wearing Kaos eyelets and amber, not really a fan of wood plugs. Although 18K gold double flared eyelet's would look sweet. I have heard of that site before, but I'm not too sure if they ship to the UK, the equivalent we've got over here is Wildcat.

gold is not for me but gold does look sick on other people though
good question though, im not sure if they ship to uk but i dont see why wouldnt they

OK well i switched the lens and i didnt notice the corners getting darker
You said the nikkor lens that i have was for digital so is it normal then for the tamron lens to AF faster and AF on more things than my nikkor lens? since my camera isnt digital , the tamron lens is pretty nice as well !

Depends how it's built really, the 55-200 is a cheap telephoto that's often bundled with the lower end of the consumer DSLR's. Some lenses AF better than others, no idea why, but there you go.

Do you notice what I mean about the edges getting darker when you try the Nikkor lens?

Well, if you mind the vignetting yeah, it can add some interesting effects for some photos though.

I'd use both, switching them depending on the shit I want to take. Use the Tamron as your primary lens though, the wider angle is more useful, and it's covers the "standard" range, which is 50mm on a film camera.

Right, keep the Tamron lens on for most of your shots.
If you want to do a portrait with some vignetting, use your Nikkor. Also use the Nikkor if you want to go above 105mm, so for far away stuff.

I also started out with traditional black and white photography, personally, I think it's much better learning that than starting with a DSLR camera. Once you feel a bit more comfortable with the black and white stuff, give Ilford SFX film a shot, it's an infrared sensitive film, so you can get some really interesting results with it.

Also try out some Ilford HP5+, it's faster than the Delta 100, less contrasty, but has very nice tones and grain, and is really quite a forgiving film for beginners.

Wow thanks!, I couldn't ask my professor because my camera shipped in the day after the session of the class :l its going to be the fourth session next week.

I'll keep those films in mind though :]

LAST QUESTION for now so I can stop bugging you lol.
I have a UV lens filter on the nikkor lens, should i just attach that to the tamron, or just leave it alone on the nikkor? I understand that the tamron is going to be my primary lens but would you say about the uv lens going on what?

UV lenses aren't really neccesary if you look after your camera well and you're not planning on shooting anywhere like a beach or in a forest where dirt/sand/etc can get onto the front element of the lens, but you might feel safer if you keep it on the Tamron.

They can cause some problems with sharpness though, so if you notice anything like that then remove it from the lens.
