I played with GIMP a little and added saturation..

Please do not comment about not seeing her face or anything, this is as much as jsp users will see of my daughter



While I was taking pictures of the sun, this fly went by me and stopped on a pear in the tree.....
That is the true meaning of point and shoot

As for the face not showing. Well if I have a daughter I would never EVER post a picture of her in this forum that is for sure so I understand ya
besides I believe it's perfect as it is if you wanted to take a portrait of her you would need to use a flash when shooting against the sun.

#2 is simply amazing. great shot with this perspective.

Wow it looks like she's almost holding a floating glowing red marble.

We played with perspective, where the sun was just a little above her hand when I was trying to take a good shot...
Was hard, cause asking a 8 year old not to move her hand while she is being bitten by a horde of mosquitos.. as well as myself...
We stayed 3 minutes then ran inside the house

The rest was some editing in GIMP.
I saw something in the tools called 'Supernova' and wanted to see what it was...
This is the final result, the others are too weird..

i love the arrangement of colors especially in the sky. looks very peaceful and romantic.

the perspective with the sun in the hand is a great symbol and i like that glowing effect.
provides the scenery a very deep sense and meaning.

and she did very well. as if she was watching the sun and holding it cautiously so that it wont go out.

( even though the circumstances were quite difficult with the hungry mosquito ambush )
