Wow! I really like them :) Nice creativity! The only improvement I could think of would be that the cards should (imho) be more illuminated. Perhaps if you angle a diffused flash well enough... If that doesn't work than you could try changing the wb (or selectively doing so) and adding another stop or two of exposure - other than that they're really nice :D I don't recall ever trying to photograph fire before... so I should give it a shot (wow... that's a bad pun) myself x'3 Keep posting!

Nice photos, for different colored flames use different colors in the liquid, 50/50 Vodka usually burns blue, dunno about much more then that. Also, try a slower or faster shutter speed, faster will give more sharp flames and a slower will make it look larger and blurred.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.
I'm gonna make another attempt at this today most likely.

waoh the last one was really nice if you ask me you
not sure if this is right but if you can increase your exposure time should add some lines to the flame or highlight :) could be wrong tho lol

Yah, I tried all sorts of exposure.
Some wasn't working though, giving to much light or to little.
thanks for the tips.

I really like the one in your sig (#2 I believe.) I took a few pics of a campfire at my youth pastor's house one time. It was about midnight and it added a nice glow to everyone's face. If I find it, I'll post it for you. I could only recommend trying different flames for more illumination. I disagree that a faster shutter speed is needed, the "mellow?" ness of the flame complements the lighting. IMO this was as good as you could have done with what you had. Nice work. :)
