Lovely colors at the first one. But I think you should try to offcenter the bee, then you look at it as the first one. Just a bit to the right.

The second is way to funny! Haha. xD

Thank you :)
The second one was only meant to be funny, my daughter was bugging me to take pictures of her new lion...
You see that I am not the boss here, have to obey my kids' orders

About the bee, that is why I would like to learn how to crop it, cause with the auto focus of my PowerShot, everything was moving too fast for me to get the green square of the focus on the bee, then move it off center.. If I tried to do this, the bee would be off focus again cause it was constantly moving... :(

The first one is exceptional Marie, the DoF is perfectly achieved by using a lower aperture f-stop.
The colors in it are wonderful, and the focal point is great.

I think you could have improved it however by composing more to the left. (Since the bee is facing the right.)
It seems like the bee was the center of the photo, which I feel drawn to. I would have liked to see it composed more to the left.

Other than that it's a great shot.
You've become so good!!

The second one doesn't do anything for me however, lol! Sorry :(
It's just, nothing for me.

If you don't mind me asking.
How old are your kids Marie?
They sound adorable.
I hear you talk about them and it makes me want a kid even more lol.
I want 12 kids someday. ;)
Take Care,
~Donny

How did you get soooo close to that guard dog!!! He looks fearsome! You are brave, Marie!

I am scared of bees - you are brave, once again!

I like the bee picture :) I am not sure what you would change about it.
