i dont think equipment is very important so i dont tell. more important is an understanding of light

but i have shot with holgas, dslrs, meduim format, 4x5, 8x10, poloroid, and 35mm.

uh ok. So which settings did you use for, let's say the one of the waterfall. It looks like a quite long exposure... and it looks beautiful

that was prob around f18, 10 sec expouser with a polorizing filter. just guessing dont remember exactly.

(Not meaning the quality of work overall....)
I mean, a first time poster who's first posted photographs are actually really great!!

I personally like the landscapes, the tones and colors are exceptional!
You do a great job at getting the correct shutter speed in order to make the sky, and land look good together.

Like Wozzles said, It reminds me of Ansel Adams stuff, great!!

I look forward to seeing more, these are fantastic!!

hathanks for the feedback i wish i could show u some of my non digital work but i refuse to take covert an yof my analog photgraphy. my real specialty is in holga and 4x5 work. i use 4x5 for landscapes when i can afford the film and almost all my underwater stuff is done on 35mm. maybe someday i will give in and convert it to digital, but for now i like to keep them seperate.

i also shoot alot of holga and have really started to perfect my 3 and 4 expouser shots.

as far as the ansel adams stuff, he has def influenced me as he has generations of photographers but i really dont try to "emulate". I just shoot what feels good an natural at the time.

my real trick to matching the sky and land is of course the legendary split nuetral denisty filter ( i always carry a 1 stop and 2 stop).

BTW my biggest influence in photography is Galen Rowell.

what do u mean by strange. that is a very poor term to use in a photo critque as it has almost no meaning
