Maybe, I dunno.

And, I don't see why you would spend $600 on a gun. It's a waste.

that lol

It's all a matter of opinions, in many peoples opinion spending $600 on a camera is a waste.

I was correct. It's not an actual gun. It's an airsoft.
Did a bit of research...

The GSG-5 is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. It is built by German Sport Guns GmbH, an airsoft wholesaler located in Ense-Höingen, Germany. It was unveiled at the IWA & Outdoor Classics trade show in March 2007 following the legalization of previously forbidden military-style weapons in Germany.

Lol I'm probably making too big a deal of this...
It's just, I hate when people lie about something like this to try and seem cool or something.
Seriously.

Especially this...

I know a thing or two about guns, trust me the GSG-5 is a real gun, just read the wiki.

Unit cost €549
Fires a .22 Rifle Cartridge (That is a real bullet, I can give you a picture of one that I have sitting in my basement, I own a .22 rifle and it uses .22 Long Rifle shells)

Just because someone has made an airsoft gun that looks like the GSG-5 means nothing, if you go by that logic that means that AK-47's, M16's, and a whole other host of guns aren't real weapons, yet they kill every day.

Here is something that proves it right away, it's a Rimfire Rifle, meaning that the firing pin hits the rim of the cartridge to start the chemical reaction that burns the black power to push the bullet forward and the spent shell out of the gun. You don't use black powder in an air rifle.

Hunting is legal and guns assist with jobs as well, killing isn't illegal in war.

Shooting at targets isn't illegal either, people do it for a hobby.

Now I'm going to try and stop arguing, I know it is a real gun, the one in the picture may not be but it is possible that it is.

hhmm...
.22 Bullet:

.22 bullets are the ones they use in Triathlon.
They are quite different from bigger, gunpowder fired bullets.

Airsoft, powered by a rechargeable battery.
$199 from Airsoft dealer.

Some people might enjoy shooting them at targets etc just like we like shooting our cameras at birds, scenery, animals, sports, etc. :)

wow i don't understand why it's such a big deal to you

i enjoy taking pictures of them because i see beauty in them.

and yes they are both real. Like Kratos said, the GSG is a rimfire rifle, even with the inflated gun prices nowadays, i purchased it for less than $800.

the pistol is a Kimber 1911 Custom TLE II in .45 which was $1400

i'm not here to try and start a flame war but gun killing people is just your opinion, "wasting" money again is your opinion.

Sorry, just my opinions. It looked like an air soft to me.

Guns kill people.
People killing people makes a war.
War causes lots of death, and destroyed cultures, races, mankind.
