hahaha! That's one vicious cat you've got there lol. It almost looks like the cat was checking carefully if that mouse is still alive. btw did the cat eat that mouse later?

yeah like 2 minutes later as I walked away I could hear this crushing sound, so I turned around to see that the mouse's head was gooooone

This reminds me of something....
Please excuse my off topic post.... well, it's on topic of cat and mouse lol

I was sleeping and one of my cats was crying outside....
So I get up and go downstairs to let him in, not bothering turning any lights on...
Back to bed and instantly asleep, I wake up to a crunching noise... ya, the same noise you heard...
Half asleep I try to imagin what the hell this is...
So I get up and turn on the light.....
My cat was eating a mouse, on the floor next to my bed....
The mouse was headless now.... totally gross.....
I guess I was lucky he was not ON my bed..

So now I'm stuck with a headess dead mouse in my bedroom..
There is no way I'm picking this thing up..
Cat brought it in, cat will bring it out.

So I grab the cat and put his head near the mouse fro him to pick it up.
I was lucky he did .
Now I wark towards the stairs, holding the cat as far as I could away from me...
Stupid cat drops the headless mouse.. so I make him grab it again and we go down the stairs...
He drops it again....
My language was not appropriate at the moment fyi...

I finally manage to kick the cat and its headless trophy outside the house.
Now my night was ruined cause I couldn't fall asleep after that....

What did I learn from this?
Always turn on the lights when opening the door.

hahaha! Yeah, they all do that which is kinda gross lol. The funny thing is that it doesn't matter how much you feed them they would still catch those poor mice or birds and play with them until they are dead kinda sadistic and cute at the same time lol.

I don't remember how many times my mom made me picking up and throw away those headless mice or rats my cat dragged in back in the days lol and sometimes they were still alive when she brought them in
lol and everytime the cat bring in something gross I would swear as well course I knew I would be the one who had to clean up the mess hahaha

You know if you don't want your cat to stay outside after it gets dark you could try to keep it inside before that and after awhile they would probably get used to it
