Well I am not a huge fan of photos with very simple stuff in them either but I wanted to try something different and actually had that competition thing in mind when I took those pictures except I didn't really want to enter it just treated it as some kind of assignment.

Oh! Thanks for the very kind comment! I wasn't really sure if I wanted to enter that contest and have just been seeing it as an assignment lol. Say why don't you enter that contest too and let others judge? I am sure you would be able to take some awesome photos as well.
Well I guess I kinda liked the sky better in #6 so I chose to underexpose those pipe thingies.
