Thanks everyone for all the advice! Well I knew about the pointing the camera downwards when changing lenses to avoid getting dust inside but I didn't know about the other things you guys posted :) especially that seagulls could shit in my camera if I wasn't careful :o :cry: :unsure:

lol - it's common sense really... if it's windy, don't put your camera into the wind, if it's dusty, don't change it there.

hahaha! yeah I guess you are right but I am sure sometimes people do forget when their minds are too occupied with taking pictures and forgetting about those things. It's almost like farting in a tent sometimes you do forget and let it rip even though you are inside a tent with friends :lol:

Anyway I guess I figured out the get lower on the ground while changing lens thing course the very first time I changed lens outdoor I almost dropped my heavy and quite large walk around lens :o so now I usually get down on my knees everytime I change lenses lol.
