Why would only 4/80 + pics ( All were taken within 20 minutes) have spots like that?
There was one with a light like this. Except this was at like 1 a.m. and it was pitchblack. No lights, no moon.

Idk if anyone has ever experienced this or knows anything about it. But when taking pictures in pitch black situations/or little light with the flash on, have you ever had like, orb type lights. Circular objects... idk how to explain it, and pics are on friends camera, but just thought id ask a bunch of actual photographers.
Something like this.

The lens is dirty, and your mate's camera is getting confused and focusing very close on the lens debris.

The only other conclusion I can understand is that there is dust, moisture, etc inside the lens or behind the lens - if this is true the camera should be serviced.

dust in lens usually only shows when using a very high F number which I really doubt you used when taking that night photo so it has to be something else :o

Every explanation you guys are giving sounds like it's possible. But If my lens was dirty I dont think id be getting perfectly clear pics 80% of the time. And dust flying infront of the lens doesnt seem plausible due to the weather we had at the time. Friend also took pics on his phone and there were two pics that had orbs in them

yea cell phone pics aren't the best quality :P it's easy to have some type of flaw that show's up as an orb for example :)

ya definitely. But he took pics of the same spot twice. Same circumstances. No movement. One had 2 orbs, one didnt.

Ghosts ftw :)
