the difference comes because 1.4 has more blades, so the bokeh balls are more round.
only lenses i got is that 24-105mm f/4 is and 50mm f/1.2, that camera is eos 300 film camera. Oh yea allso i got this lens, but it naturally wont fit in canon dslrs

Yeah I saw the difference in this review:
http://photo.net/equipment/canon/ef50/hmm I kinda like the pentagon shaped bokeh thing lol but as I said I will get the cheaper lens first and if I decide to go serious about portrait photography or whatever I will get the f/1.4 version later on. It kinda sucks when you have so many other things you want to buy than camera equipment lol.
