Second one is so sharp. Good job! I still have yet to take firework photos! What settings do you use?

400 ISO B/W film (again, all I had, was required for the class I had taken my last semester of HS); Used varying shutter speeds, 500ms - 250ms and a few held down for a few seconds.

I also looked up tips for photographing fireworks, and they commented on aperture sizes. I forget what I used, but you may want to look into that

I thought it was a cheap point and shoot camera. xD
I have the same Camera as you, the AE-1. I think you should do land and cityscape like Futurama said.

Hey! Stop telling people to do what I hoped they should do or whatever lol tongue.gif jk xD
It's just something I read in a guide about taking pictures of fireworks.

hmm I am not sure if I like those b&w pictures of fireworks I mean the whole point with them are to show all the colorful effects.

I hope the topic creator doesn't mind this OT but I am kinda wondering if you guys actually have fireworks here in Canada during the summer. It would be interesting to take some pics of fireworks again because the last time I did it I was still new to using dslrs and I do hope the next time I will do much better lol.

The 2 first b&w photos looks crazy! I mean really crazy! I think the b&w effect make them more dramatic, and in some way look like they were from an old film about aliens. xD
