I had it at 2.8, but i can turn it up to 8

I had the ISO on auto but i can turn it up to 800

well then your pictures are 'grainy' proberbly because you let a webstie resize them for you. resizing images on your computer means you keep more of the quality.

do the images look better quality on your computer?

No, i mean, they weren't resized at all - thats the size i took the picture in : /

then maybe your camera was set to a low quality mode, how do these pictures compare to others you've taken?

I think its just because of some of the changes I made, like the ISO and the aperture.

@kratos: If you don't know all those strange words and abbreviations you may want to check out this site:

Some of the stuff there could be too technical with numbers and graphs that are hard to understand but it will give some insight into photography and help you to know which settings you should use on your camera to achieve the results you desire.
