perhaps you could have done this hdr style with multiple shots

Well hdr MAY would have given it more interesting colors but I know and have seen a lot of hdr images posted in here and else where and most of them just don't look natural and real... and I just want my pictures to look real and when I take pictures I would try to make the results look more like the way I saw through my own eyes if that makes sense heh.

what i meant isn't to make a hdr but use the style of hdr to take 3-5 photos of the same scene with different exposures, except don't add them together but just take say the sky from one and then the moon from another then the city from another so you can get the right exposure for all of it

I see. Well that's what I was thinking about too when I was taking those pictures because I knew the moon would get extremely overexposed and I also mentioned it in my first post tongue.gif but thanks for the advice though :).

I tried to underexpose this picture but it was still not enough to get a clear shot of the moon. I wonder if there is a filter that got like darkened upper part so both the moon and the landscape would be properly exposed lol.
