its not bad for it haha!! woofers are ment to be put on the floor, yours has legs on which will transfer the bass to the floor better than the white box

My tv 7.1 is on the floor but thats not as good of a speaker.

On the box it said not to place directly on the floor, have it elevated or something.
ill try it on floor.

that is wierd all the subs i know of are supposed to be on the floor because the floor carries the bass, so you are sort of turning the floor into a big woofer

if i remember correctly all the the higher frequency sounds should be higher up because they travel. like when u go to a gig you see the big speakers on a pole.
