Where do you buy / how much, I'll get one.
I have been wanted to start a vintage camera collection for a while now.

Good used camera shop or eebay, you'll want to get one in good working order, Rollei (and Hasselblad) spare parts are very expensive.

Film scanner will be too expensive, at least for anything that'll do it justice, and if you're going to go for a medium format camera you'll want to be capable of printing A3+ size prints, which again is just going to be very expensive.

Speaking of scanners I just bought an Agfa Duoscan on eebay.

Do you have anywhere to set up that stuff? There's not really any point in buying it yourself at this moment in time if you can use your colleges stuff.

hhmm,, well I want an umbrella & wireless flash setup atleast.
That's only about $150
+ 130 (more than 50% off found it new from a guy on eebay!) for the bettery grip.

700
-180
____
$500.00 approx. left. (20 off for gst)

I don't think I can get a hasselblad or anything like that :s
I'm lookin for maybe a cheap film camera, not like a hasselblad..
Something that I could buy at:
http://www.thecamerastore.com
http://www.vistek.ca

Or perhaps I could get a new tripod head. I want one of those joystick ones tongue.gif
And perhaps a cheap $30 reflector thingy happy.gif

What tripod do you currently have?

Do you have to get the camera at either of those two shops? You can pick up a decent medium format camera for $500 quite easily on eebay, especially if it's a relativey cheap Mamiya system, a Rolleiflex would most likely fit within your budget too, and with a TLR system you wouldn't need to worry about buying new lenses (the lenses on them are absolutely brilliant).
