If it were me ... I would have taken the fixed shot that was straightened and panned my camera right so that there is just a little room before the edge of the left side of the photo and the doors. Then I would have taken that barrel and moved it to the right of the doors about two feet or so ... and let the shadow crawl ... and shot in some sort of a wide angle. But that's just me.
