Oh lord lol. I am grateful for all the suggestions and advice but I am NOT going to spend thousands on a stupid monitor because first of all I am not rich and second I would rather spend that kind amount of money to buy better lenses and other accessories for my camera . Out of the monitors I have checked HP W2207H cost the most at 330 Canadian dollars plus tax and I think that's the most I want to spend on a monitor, for now . I also believe that products by Apple are usually overpriced compared to others



Well so I have noticed lol I have read some very good things about that HP monitor I am interested in but also one of the Dell 22 inches which cost quite a bit less too so i guess I may will have to go to the store and check them out lol.

apple monitor might be good, but its really much overpriced as are eny other apple product.

haha yep that's what I have noticed too. I think that's also one of the reasons why so few people use Mac other than the much less software made for Mac OS. hehe and don't forget that Macs have become more and more like PC and now they are using the very same CPUs as PCs

I have heard of those 544544564654 dollar monitors, those so called LED-backlit LCDs even though the image showed on those monitors are incredibly nice and all that but I don't think it's worth the money. Kinda like Nikon D3X

It is worth the money if you're doing professional photo retouching or you need complete colour fidelity for printing. The Pantone colour values on the screen should, ideally, match the Pantone colours from a book.

Are you kidding me? No offense but that monitor looks like a totally piece of crap because of the extremely slow response time. I would probably notice the delay if it is really 16ms
and 600 bucks for it must be a joke



Well I am not and I don't know how to retouching photos professionally. heh It's not like that I am going to be a professional photographer or graphic designer at least not any time soon


Well I do watch whole a lot of movies on my computer and that's one of the reasons why I don't want to get a monitor smaller than 22 inch As I said I am not a graphic designer or professional photographer so I don't really need an extremely slow monitor but thanks for the info though

lol I guess the title is a lil bit misleading because I know this is probably the wrong place to post questions about LCD monitors

The response time on that monitor is fine for photography work, it sucks for any sort of film or animation work, and gaming.

Yes that's what I have read in those reviews too and since I am neither a graphic designer or a hardcore photographer I would rather spend less on a better/faster monitor.
I went to OfficeDepot earlier and bought the HP W2207H part because they had it on sale and bought myself a nice desk too . I will post a picture of it later.

OMG! my brand new monitor got a dead pixel It's constantly bright like a white dot and it's so annoying but fortunately I called Office Depot and they told me that I could switch for another lol.
but other than that annoying pixel the monitor is amazingly sharp and bright. It's like 424254 times better than my old crappy Acer 17 inch LCD monitor
