Yup. Although to be honest the photo isn't that great so I wouldn't really have shown it anyway.
I'll have to say I've shown more than my fair share of photos that I've later thought sucked.

Bookmark this topic and come back to it once you've been shooting for 6 months or so, you'll have a different opinion on the photo.

yeah well i cant really tell what the difference between a good and bad photo is anyway, so by getting others to tell me what they think i can learn the difference smile.gif

Go to the library, read lots of photography books wink.gif

nah i perfer to learn by my mistakes

By taking loads of pictures and getting feedback will make me much better at taking photos than reading a book smile.gif

You're wrong.
There's some basic rules in photography about composition that are good to learn, they're not just things you can learn by taking photos.

Also, if you ever plan to exhibit work there's things you need to learn about layout, stuff you won't learn by just doing stuff yourself.
