Meh, I guess ^^ I've considered joining some more serious photo forum to "cheat on" tongue.gif To upload those great shots you make like once-in-a-very-great-while xD And get criticism on those :] It's often those that blind you from the truth the most.

hahaha well I am disappointed too because the Xmas window decorations there used to be sooo much better and less childish and silly sad.gif
OMG! You actually let the stupid photobucket resize your photos? Do you have photoshop? Usually I resize and/or crop my photo before I upload them and I've also discovered that letting stupid photobucket resizing for you kinda make your photo a bit blurry and out of focus.

Thanks though for taking those pictures for me smile.gif
lol have you taken any more pictures of what it looks like in the downtown area with Christmas decorations and all that? tongue.gif

I've noticed this in photobucket too, haha. I might have to give the good ol' photo shop re-sizing a try later.

How do you do it?

How do I resize my photos? Well I just open those I found worth uploading in the photoshop, one at the time, and use the change image size function.
How about you? Well I do remember you used to use a quite simple but useful program to resize your pics but I don't remember the name of it. Are you still using it? lol I hope I am not asking too much.

I am actually a member of one of those serious photography forums but personally I think some of the members in there are just too serious and hardcore lol
It's kinda hard to have a casual and fun conversations with most of them probably because many of them are much older than me lol but you can always try to join one maybe you will find those serious photography forums a fun place to discuss. I usually just read the posts and occasionally post photos and ask for advice and there are actually some helpful people in there who could give you some useful advice. The site I am a member of is thephotoforum.com and I have noticed that it has become quite large too with several thousand members.

lol you know this place used to be really dead with only like 4 people regularly posting in here and another 4-5 who post here from time to time but lately it seems several people have discovered this sub-forum, you included biggrin.gif and it's nice to get to know some new people and talk about whatever that comes across our minds biggrin.gif. It's Christmas holiday now and I am sure some people don't get online here often because they have better things to do so I hope after new year more people will start posting here again and I will hopefully be able to post some new photos too happy.gif

As soon as I get my next paycheck I will be getting a camera and right now I am thinking about to get a EOS 40D again course I don't want to pay more than 400 dollars more for 50D which doesn't seem to be much better at least when it comes to image quality and ISO performance. But who knows I may will change my mind once I am inside the camera store biggrin.gif. I will probably get a camera backpack too that is if they have the kind I want at reasonable price. lol

Haha - that's why I'm always here, too.

There are a lot of other people on the "more serious" photo forum, and to be honest, it almost feels that I don't belong there, unless I have a "once-in-a-blue-moon" shot, lol. Meaning, an actual decent picture.

Just to warn ya, they are pretty serious, even tho it's just a hobby for most of them.
