lol nah I don't think I got it from a b/w film besides I am sure back then nobody knows that smoking would cause cancer and stroke. hmm I may have got it when I watched Star Trek back when I was a teenager haha yeah I know it sounds geeky but back then I actually liked those stupid TV series. Is "Than it's rumble fish" a book? I've never heard of it and I certainly don't watch black and white movies anymore even though some of them are good like "Arsenic and old lace"

Yeah It's just called Rumble Fish. It's one of S.E hintons many awesome youth books. It's basically about kids in the slum fighting with eachother but it's awesome In the late 80's they produced a crappy movie out of it which was shot in b/w (although not necessary)

I use a Sony CyberShot DSC-H9, 8.1 MP.
Personally, I don't think that the mp count is a huge factor in image quality (anyone, correct me if I am wrong).
I used a tripod for most of these shots, and there was plenty of light.
Without enough light, like on a summer morning, the quality is pretty poor. I found that out the day of, actually.

This pigeon shot is actually one of maybe 10 - 15 shots. I wanted to make sure I got a good one, and I guess that payed off.
The first shot was actually a very candid, almost accidental photo, that I took without looking at the viewfinder or display. It seemed like a good opportunity to get a portrait (as the man was actually walking away whilst taking this shot), but I guess I should have tried to get the exposure better.

sorry for changing the subject but have you taken any photos of what it looks like in downtown Stockholm now? I still remember all the beautiful Christmas decorations along the shopping streets and main streets and people singing Xmas songs at the train station, just kinda magical lol and beautiful. I used to walk by NK during the Christmas and find their window decorations really amazing. The city I am living in now, Regina, is really crappy when it comes to decorations and you barely see any of those at all.

Argh, no I haven't! Unfortunately, it being Christmas eve and all today I won't get out of the house >_o Nor tomorrow or boxing day. I'll go snap some shots for you the day after boxing day when all the family duties are over however! hah. If the decorations are still up

Well it's good that you will be busy celebrating the Christmas with your family and all that I mean I am all freaking alone here and I will be either working or being bored this Christmas and new year I know they will keep the Christmas decorations until at least after the new year so I am sure you will be able to take some nice photos of downtown Stockholm I just hope the weather will be nice too or maybe I am just hoping for too much

Well the weather in Sweden is known to be very fickle, almost as fickle as some of the friends of mine lmao, but I think you really shouldn't complain because here in Regina, Canada you MUST have a car during the winter if you don't want to freeze to death walking around I mean just walking to my work which is located less than a block away from my apartment is a pure torture when the temperature is below -35
