Use the external flash. Personally i nearly never use the flash straight on, it makes pretty awfull shadows and hard light close range

Yeah, I don't usually use the build in flash very much, but I tested it out anyhow just to see biggrin.gif

Haha Spencer, I just googled them, they look pretty funny ^^

I am having fun with this lens already, and I haven't even walked outside yet, haha wow photobucket makes the pictures shitty quality, but I used ISO 800, haha oops:

yeah I know what you mean. lol I guess I have started to get used to this freaking cold weather here because of the crappy job I have. Working at the drive through is like working outside wearing a winter jacket and two pair of pants but I couldn't use gloves because I had to punch in stuff lmao.

Have you ever gone outside in this cold weather with your camera before? I have heard that the battery dies very fast because of the cold so I have heard people saying that you should have a backup battery in your pocket so you can just take a few shots with one battery then change to the "warmer" battery in your pocket. biggrin.gif

edit: forgot to ask where you bought that lens and how much you paid for it, lol I hope I am not asking too much again smile.gif

I have before, yes, it's very cold. My battery didn't die on me though. I had my hand on the grip nearly the whole time, so it was somewhat warm.

I actually got a deal on the lens. Haha. On sale for 569.99 and I got a 80$ digital photo frame for free with it. xD. Got it at Don's Photo, and I got the last one there. Hah!

OMG! haha You have always been a lucky "jerk" lol just kidding (calling you a jerk because I am jealous lol) Sigh had I known that I would have gone there and bought it before you because I only live like two or three blocks from Don's mad1.gif lol
Well I sure hope they will have some kind of sale later in January because I am so going to get a ultra wide lens after I've got a new body.

hmm I guess the heat from your hand is enough to keep the battery warm but haha I don't want to know how your hands felt after awhile lmao. hmm maybe you should get a pair of tight leather gloves so you can easily press all those tiny buttons
