Yeah I am sure all of those newer DSLRs can handle up to ISO 800 pretty well but from time to time you still need to go a bit higher than that like when you want to take pics of animals in low light or action photos. Well I know you don't like to post process your photos too much but if you ever change your mind about that there are tools or plugins to reduce or even remove image noises for Photoshop. I have tried it a few times and it works quite good except some details could vanish too.
Once again, I don't use photoshop to reduce the "noise" my camera makes. I'd rather take the picture without the noise

Of all the times I've used 1600 ISO it's been terrible.... is there something I'm doing wrong? I mean, it looks terrible noise wise.
