we've had some bad snow as well, and its no good coz the ice is hazardous to the animals.

I REALLY lol at all the amazing comments on these photos.
"Ass kissing" (literally from the dictionary)-the practice or an instance of attempting to curry favor by the excessive use of compliments, praise, or the like.

Now, I'm going to be honest and give some proper CC.

I'm not saying the photos are bad, but I personally don't think they are great.
The 3rd photo is pretty much the only one that I find good.

Ok so. I personally think you should have used something to diffuse and soften the light to take out those
drastically harsh light shadows. Direct flash causes some bad shadows which make the picture not look professional.

Another thing to add is that they were not taking in any Macro function which makes them less sharp and clear.
The macro feature is one of the "must learn" techniques if you want to take close-up shots. Without it, the pictures
appear less clear, crisp and sharp.

One more thing is rule of thirds. All the pictures on here have the subject close to or right in the middle. This makes
the photo look less attractive and less likely to attract somebodies attention.

Now, don't get me wrong I do understand she has just started using her digital camera.
But c'mon. Calling the pictures "Secksy" when there are some flaws is NOT going to help improve her ability at taking better photos.

I like the pictures, but they could be better.I have to say that TheBlackRose66 is right.
But you have a good way of catching objects. Some people do not learn that. xD

But you should get a pro camera insted of a Canon PowerShot A570 IS.

I have to agree to disagree with you here, Spencer.
First of all I am not a "pro" like you and second I have never really taken any serious macro shots before and the fact that those photos were taken by a point and shoot camera just kinda made me like them even more. We all have different taste when it comes to art so there wasn't really much of an ass-kissing here besides what good would it do for me? btw you may find this quote interesting:

Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are.

Anyway.
