Because the quality is bad and It shows nothing of the piano.

yes because its a jpg..if he turns it into a png everything will be ALOT better
...and you have to think about the target market as well
obviously any one who likes pianos will know what this is right off the bat

but i really like it..the depth of field is really nice

Well. I like pianos. I do not think the conversion can mess things up like that. It is really grainy.

saving jpg as web and devices and taking icc profile off will make the pic show as good as png. Problem with normal jpg is that the pic wont show icc profile on most internet browsers and it will make the pic look bit less saturated. Allso if your using resizing from some website you up the pic to might reduce its quality. Some site might reduce the quality even if its not resized there.

You have to remember this piano is worth over 10,000$ and is over 60 years old, still in mint conidion and worth MUCH more than it was purchased for at an auction.
