lol I like the word "borrowing" Well from what I've read G9 is one of the best compacts out there so I am sure you'll be fine with it unless you decide to get more serious with photography

Oh yeah, I remember you mentioning that in another thread. Well D80 is nice but if you want to buy a dslr you might as well buy the newest, like D90 or even EOS 40D and of course buying a good body doesn't mean you will be able to take sharp and colorful pics because without a good lens even the best camera bodies would take crappy photos. lol Finding a better job sounds like a good plan to me course I am certainly in need of a better job right now

ohh does he use Nikon film cameras? Well then you may want to buy D80 or D90 because those smaller Nikons like D40 and D60 can't use older Nikon lenses, at least that's what I have heard.

Yeah, I know about that allready That's why I'm aiming for the D80 as it works with them ^^ And yeah, these lenses are pretty old lol considering he probably bought them in the 90's. Still good never the less

Oh I see, yeah, I have heard that some of those older lenses are actually better than the newer ones especially when it comes to build quality. So! when are you going to get your first dslr? I plan on to get a new camera body right after the new year when I get my paycheck

Yeah, it seems everything is like that nowadays I'm not sure! Whenever I work up the $$ I suppose. Got 500:- (kr, not usd lol) from my grandma for Christmas so that's certainly a start Gonna go looking for jobs after new years aswell although I've a feeling I won't have much success... It's really hard to get a job at 16 and the only places that really will hire you are like crappy newspaper companies that make you haul their papers for near-slavery prices ><

Oh! Well at least 500 kr or roughly 65 US dollars is a start but yeah, you really really need a job unless you get some allowance from your parents every month
I had to sell my EOS 40D before I moved from Sweden to Canada, the reason is that the warranty on it was only valid in Europe but now I am kinda glad that I sold it for almost 1000 bucks because
the whole moving thing has cost me a lot more than I expected. So now I am working my ass off just so I will be able to save one thousand to buy another 40D and hopefully I will be able to do that right after the new year . You know I think the easiest way to find a job is through your parents or friends. Maybe you should ask your parents if they could find you a job somewhere since you told me they are quite wealthy so I would assume that they have some contacts
