like the garbage can idea, but its no problem, i can just save myself big money by getting a sony a200 with IMAGE STABILIZED body, instead of canon 450d with IS in lens wink.gif

yeah i think your right there. damn! it is so tempting to upgrade furture to a 40d over the 450d...

its just im drawn in by the 6.5fps, if the 450d had 6.5fps i wouldnt be bothered.

but have you heard them 10+fps cameras? biggrin.gif biggrin.gif sounds like a machine gun happy.gif

hehe I had a 40D for 4 months and really really loved it. well I bought it not for the speed but more for the much better high ISO performance, larger viewfinder AND a larger sturdier body made of metal. I am going to get a replacement in a few months and it will most probably be 40D again since Ive heard that 50D isnt better at least when it comes to AF, image quality and high ISO performance. I think Canon should have made a 40D mk2 instead and put a 10 or 12 Mpixel sensor with better ISO performance instead of that stupid 15Mpixel sensor.

lmao geez I did NOT say that 450D isnt good for you
its a very very nice camera. I have used XTI/400D a few times sometime ago and I loved it
and I think you will do more than just fine with 450D/XSI

lol I bought 40D back then because I was willing to spend some more on the body itself and I knew I wouldnt be able to buy a tripod right away so I preferred the better high ISO performance. I think you should get the 450D and then get a good tripod tongue.gif but of course the decision is entirely up to you to make lol I was just telling you how and why I chose 40D as my very first DSLR
