films are indeed expensive if you take a lot of pictures I mean I had my EOS 40D for like 4 months and I took 2000 pics with it, well some of them were just random test shots but still I wonder how many rolls of films that would be

hey guys you know what we should do...

we should get all our old cameras together, get some film, take some shots and have a contest to see who takes bestest photos, we could scan them and post them here

maybe we could do it on a theme, lets say "must be in b+w"
then we could get someone to judge the results!

i think it sounds like fun, what do you think?

you can probably buy a used one very cheap. I have seen people selling EOS film SLRs for less than 60 bucks!
or if you dont like used cameras there are some cheap point and shoot film cameras as well
