the ice is photoshop (duh), nice to hear it looks realistic.

Just ice textures with careful blending.

well lol that must be a hell of a blending you did course it sure looks realistic
heh I am still learning about photoshop and so far I have only managed to blend two pics with pretty similar lighting into each other
btw which photoshop version did you use for that pic?


btw... no offense Astragony but I think I should make the rules more clear I'd like people posting photos that are not too heavily edited and modified
maybe just the usual brightness, contrast and color. Well that doesnt mean your photo is disqualified I still like it besides this is just for fun

I like photoshop (I teach it at university) but I am a fan of "get-it-right in-the-camera" pics.

I didn't post the image to win anything, just for the sake of doing it and sharing thoughts and tecniques...

Well that astragonys pic is a photomanipulation, but in my opinion its still photography.

Im a fan of get the iso, f-number and shutterspeed right on the camera and adjust the rest on computer, since camera most likely will process the pic different that i want it to. Changing the white balance and stuff in the camera is no different than doing it on the computer, since when doing it on camera your controlling the computer in it, it just has far less possibilities on controlling the pic.

well as I said this assignment is just for fun only and there is no price involved course Ive got almost 0 fg anyway
