hmm ive read that it could be software corrected by warping the image with a reverse distortion tongue.gif

yea, but at 10mm the distortion is so huge that the photo would most likely look like a balloon and would need so hard cropping that you could just crop the edges off, or use the lens at 15+mm.

well i kinda noticed that in this pic of yours:

the bridge and the other side of the river/waterfall are like wavy or curved lol is it like that in the real life or is it because of the lens

Its the opposite from fisheye, it makes the center more closer and edges more far away.

pincushion distortion means that edges get streched and middle of the photo looks more far away.

Ohh okay. Thanks for clearing that up.

Got a few other questions...

Is there some getting used to when using this lens?

And should I use any filters on it, like polarizer? Or just a clear filter to keep it from scratches?

No offense there pal, but I'd rather do less photo editing there.

No dude, I mean It's an ACTUAL store, there's only 1 it's in Calgary SW.
I've been to it, its like the biggest Camera store here.

It's like Futureshop, but just Camera gear etc.

hehe didnt know theyve got a real physical store since they have a huge collection of cameras and accessories online which you could order and pay with credit card or whatever and get shipped right to your door and their prices are a bit lower than Henry's

I am actually gonna try that when I get my lens, Take a picture of someone's face and see how big and distorted it can get. Just for fun

I know lmao thats why I asked him if he got any close up pic taken with his lens. Ive read that my lens could distort faces as well at close range and I actually tried once but it wasnt very noticeable I guess with that ultra wide lens you can probably take some really funny close up pics
