I don't think you can criticize a photo if its too blurry to view it at its potential.

lol thats why i said this at first:

If you exclude the image quality and just focus on the composition.

1: I think that you may have found something that better conveyed the feeling of the moment or perhaps taken the picture of the tree from a different angle ? Were you going for the back light from the street lamp ?. As it is the tree doesn't stand out to me the car in the background does and it draws my attention to it.

2: If it was your intention to shoot the sunset you might do well to lose a little of the parking lot. I cant say for sure the image isn't sized well enough to fit on my screen.

3: If you cropped out some of the surroundings and focused on the dog im sure this would be a good shot. I don't think you would lose the feeling of the dog being surrounded by underbrush.

Dont be afraid to leave the pictures smaller you don't have to blow them up so big.

thanks for the input

1: that actually was the best angle, behind me was a radioshack storefront and to the right was a street

2: i would zoomed in, if i hadnt been using my phone ^^ beleive me when i say that sunset looked spectacular IRL

3: she was surrounded by bushes, the crazy dog lives to just jump in and sit in the bushes, i dunno why, so thats why i took the pic of her in the bushes ^^

im not sure why they turned out so large, im the future i will edit the size down and keep them small

i have a much cheaper vivitar 8mp with 4x optical zoom that works great for me

if i was going to spend the money for a rebel like that, i would have to be doing something with it to make money, like selling amature shots or something, its too expensive for me right now

just gotta get my vivitar back ^^

hehe yeah photography is an expensive hobby lol once you get a DSLR like rebel xti or whatever you wil need accessories, the lenses are very expensive many of the good ones cost even more than camera itself lol so unless you want to get serious with it, it isnt really worth a lot of money on it but again its a very fun hobby ^^
