If you exclude the image quality and just focus on the composition.
1: I think that you may have found something that better conveyed the feeling of the moment or perhaps taken the picture of the tree from a different angle ? Were you going for the back light from the street lamp ?. As it is the tree doesn't stand out to me the car in the background does and it draws my attention to it.
2: If it was your intention to shoot the sunset you might do well to lose a little of the parking lot. I cant say for sure the image isn't sized well enough to fit on my screen.
3: If you cropped out some of the surroundings and focused on the dog im sure this would be a good shot. I don't think you would lose the feeling of the dog being surrounded by underbrush.
Dont be afraid to leave the pictures smaller you don't have to blow them up so big.
thanks for the input
1: that actually was the best angle, behind me was a radioshack storefront and to the right was a street
2: i would zoomed in, if i hadnt been using my phone ^^ beleive me when i say that sunset looked spectacular IRL
3: she was surrounded by bushes, the crazy dog lives to just jump in and sit in the bushes, i dunno why, so thats why i took the pic of her in the bushes ^^
im not sure why they turned out so large, im the future i will edit the size down and keep them small
